Dozens of students from across the region collaborated with the Central Lakes Symphony Orchestra in a breathtaking 120 member orchestra. 68 orchestra students came from high schools in Alexandria, St. Cloud, Battle Lake and Fergus Falls.
After months of planning and practicing individually, students and CLSO musicians gathered in person. Large group rehearsals were conducted by Maestro Brad Lambrecht, while small group practices were led by CLSO section leaders. Rehearsals culminated in a mass symphony orchestra performance that evening of the “Fire and Passion” concert at the Alexandria Area High School Performing Arts Center. The audience were amazed at the high school students’ musicianship and the full sound of the 120 member symphony orchestra.
