BRAYDEN DREVLOW

Piano and Organ Soloist for Power of the Orchestra

Brayden Drevlow is a concert pianist and adventure traveler from Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Known for putting “the X in extreme,” he lives a life of chasing adventures, pushing the comfort zone, and never allowing dreams to go unpursued.

Drevlow began playing piano and violin at age 5, alongside his musical family of 13. He studied Piano Performance at Concordia College (Moorhead, Minnesota) under the tutelage of Dr. Jay Hershberger. Drevlow won several concerto competitions and has performed as a featured soloist with multiple symphony orchestras; along with extensive solo piano tours in the United States. He regularly performs all over the world in starkly divergent places; from Embassies and Parliaments to the coldest inhabited place on the planet (-72 Siberia). Other unique performances include ragtime piano at Disneyland, “Barber of Seville” in Seville Spain, hurricane relief concerts in Puerto Rico, piano bars in Killarney Ireland, and even harpsichord at the home of George Washington.

In his travels, Drevlow has been to over 100 countries. He began traveling from a young age with his family on roadtrips in the United States. By age 15, he had visited nearly every corner and almost every National Park in the United States. Drevlow began traveling internationally at age 20, expanding his horizons and chasing adventures abroad. He picked up more languages; speaking English, German, Russian, Icelandic, and Thai. Nowadays, he finds great purpose in traveling to places where ‘the pages of history are turning.” As such, Drevlow was in China when Covid-19 began, Afghanistan when the Taliban took over, Sudan during coups, Turkey post-earthquake, and countless other important points of history.

In the midst of a worldwide pandemic, and despite continuing to travel extensively, Drevlow began a YouTube channel (“Brayden Drevlow”). The channel has garnered tens of millions of views, sharing adventures and stories from the far stretches of the planet; from scuba diving to cook eggs on underwater volcano vents in Central America to being detained on accusations of espionage in Afghanistan. Just like the jump out of a plane, Drevlow finds the most enjoyment in life on the other side of the comfort zone; noting that “…once you let go and embrace the unknown, destiny will take you wherever you’re meant to be.” He enjoys many adventurous activities; from scuba-diving WW2 shipwrecks in Africa to fire-breathing in Bavaria.

Outside of music and travels, Drevlow serves as Ambassador to the United States for the Republic of Užupis in Northern Europe. He enjoys learning languages, practicing piano, and keeping a daily journal. Drevlow is an Eagle Scout, GE/Reagan Presidential Scholar, and Master Freemason. In his spare time, he volunteers for the Arthritis Foundation and enjoys spending time with his family of 13.
